Testimonials
Here are a selection of testimonials from previous colleagues I have worked alongside. There are also testimonials from parents and children I have previously taught.

“Amy builds trusting relationships with the children she teaches. She respects them individually, is able to keep them safe and knows well how they develop and learn. At all times Amy is kind, considerate, reliable, flexible, professional and helpful. I would have no hesitation in allowing her to look after my children.
“I know Amy to be a loyal, genuine and dependable colleague and friend. She is a calm and patient person who is ideally suited to working with children. She is honest and committed to the education she provides. The children she teaches have fun and develop a love for learning.”
Sinead Allen, Primary Teacher and Mentor
“I know Amy Penfold to be a caring and conscientious educator from the years I spent working with her as a teacher in an infant school. She developed excellent relationships with children, their parents and careers, and colleagues. She was always hardworking, honest and reliable. Children in her class learnt in a stimulating environment and achieved high standards. They were happy and secure in her care. I recommend her with confidence.”
Sue Rayner MEd, BEd, NPQH, Retired Teacher/Deputy Headteacher.
“Your teaching was one of a kind! The way you taught helped her develop her skills (some she still remembers today!) The manner you taught them in was so friendly and kind, she still remembers you today!”
Manpreet Grewal, parent of child previously taught
“I remember the amazing techniques you taught me, your friendliness and I even think of you as one of the best teachers I've ever met! Every morning our class was greeted with a gentle smile and ended with laughter!”

“Amy taught my son at primary school and I was extremely happy with the care my son received and great progress he made whilst in Amy's class. Her classroom was always welcoming and well organised and my son had great fun learning with the other children in her care. Beyond all this though it is Amy's warm and friendly but no nonsense approach which sets her apart from other learning providers. Amy is a great communicator and had no trouble gaining my son’s confidence which encouraged great behaviour and kindness and compassion to others, all which he has taken with him through to secondary school. All in all I was thoroughly happy with the level of teaching and care my son received and I'm certain that him being in such a positive and happy environment helped him develop into a confident and self-assured teenage boy. I would absolutely recommend Amy as a great and reliable child minder.”

Amy was my son’s teacher in year 2. I was very pleased with how my son’s education had improved while he was in her class as Amy had every child’s best interest at heart and made sure every child achieved their goals in a way that best suited them. Amy took every child’s needs into account when planning, teaching. She developed an outstanding relationship with everyone, children and their carers. If I ever had a problem Amy was always there, willing to help and would even go the extra mile to make sure my problems were solved.
Leah Wilton, Parent of a child I previously taught
"Very understanding and has the child's best interest at heart. Always ready to help and goes the extra mile so a child can understand better! Polite. Not only is very interactive and open with children but also very informative with the parents and loves to help in any way.
Really loves working with children and is a top diamond teacher! Sadly missed at the school!"

Mrs Penfold is a very kind, helpful teacher. She helped me understand in ways that best helped me with things I didn't get the hang off. Mrs Penfold made lessons fun, that helped me learn better and gave interesting facts that Mrs Penfold had learnt. We had a peaceful, fun environment and everyone was given a chance to talk not only about the lesson but anything we wanted to. Mrs Penfold was one of my best teachers at Cranford school.
